Sound familiar?

You were told to just stop lifting.

You've done the rest, the ice, the "give it time." Maybe you saw a PT who had you doing clamshells and sent you home. The pain keeps coming back the second you load it again - and no one can tell you why.

  • "It hurts, but I can push through - I just pay for it the next day."
  • Your scans came back "abnormal," so now you're afraid to load it.
  • Every practitioner gave you a different answer for what's wrong.
  • The safe zone keeps shrinking - fewer lifts you can tolerate.

The difference

Most rehab was built and tested on people who don't lift.

Not only am I a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I'm a gym rat myself. I've trained for CrossFit and Bodybuilding and competed in Powerlifting.

As a patient once told me: "I'm gonna keep lifting until they put the nails in the coffin."

We work with national and professional level powerlifters and bodybuilders. We work with competitive fighters. And we work with recreational lifters who just love training and want to stay in the gym.

No matter who you are, the answer isn't to stop lifting. And often, it's the opposite.

Who you'll work with

I almost quit lifting for good.

The summer before PT school, injuries scared me to the point where I stopped lifting completely. Not one practitioner I talked to knew how to help me stay in the gym. I lost 25+ lbs and watched my hard-earned gains waste away as I lost my identity as a lifter.

So I built a different system - one that prioritizes lifting heavy instead of demonizing it, that teaches instead of gatekeeps, and that creates autonomy rather than reliance. Since then I've helped hundreds of lifters get back to training hard again.
